LA-Streetball.com – Peserta Training Camp Challenge The World 2016 sudah berlatih bersama coach Matt Makalintal.
“I was actually surprised, a good surprised, because they’re very discipline and they’re all motivated and understand that they need to get better. So, at least, that’s the first step, knowing that they want to get better and going through all the steps. For example, in our first practice, everybody was like they’re dying but when we do something again, everybody stands up and gives 100%. So, I expect them to continue this attitude so they can develop more as people and better players,” kata coach Matt sambil ngawasin peserta Training Camp latihan.
Mengenai jadwal latihan yang udah disiapin, coach Matt ngejelasin, “I handle them twice a day on Monday to Friday. On Saturday, we do gym work or aquatic. So, we mix it up. So, in a week, we do three times in the pool and then three times in the gym but everyday we do court work.”
“Lately, we’ve been doing lots of conditioning. We’ve been doing some weight training and today we did aquatic training. So, we’re mixing things up, getting their body ready, because in the league they’re gonna have three games in a day. So, what we’re trying to do is simulate the game so we’re practicing right now two to three times a day,” kata coach Matt.
